Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 + car, pension, phone, laptop

Due to strategic expansion plans, my client is seeking to appoint a Sales Account Manager to work in a dynamic and commercial environment. They have various positions covering the area’s outlined above.

You will be entrepreneurial, tenacious and have a solid contact base to drive new sales avenues to achieve profit targets.

You will also come from a background working in a Sales position for a wine company, with a WSET level 2 or above. My client won’t consider anyone from any other background

 

The role:

  • This position requires the delivery of sales to achieve gross profit targets
  • Increase prominence and visibility of key agency wines whilst working towards increasing the clients profile within the on-trade sector.
  • This is an ambassadorial role, representing the client and their agencies within the U.K. on trade and includes a responsibility for implementing marketing derived brand activity plans.
  • previous on-trade sales experience; a successful track record and a serious passion for wine

 

The ideal candidate

  • WSET qualified, minimum Level 2.
  • Extensive sales experience within the ‘on-trade’ industry.
  • Analytical and numerate with attention to detail.
  • The ability to complete a detailed price proposal and write a balanced wine list.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate with confidence both internally and externally.
  • A passion for our products, our aims and customer service.
  • Computer literate, using Word and Excel.
  • Experience of working with Brand owners and knowledge of strategic brand development would be advantageous.
  • you will need to identify and seek out profitable sales opportunities and target new accounts within your designated region.
  • The successful applicant will live in or around (and will have extensive knowledge of) their own geographical area.
