The specialist off trade channel is becoming increasingly important to Speciality Brands as consumers increasingly search to discover new, premium brands and expand their category understanding. This combined with the trend for more at home consumption has driven the need to focus more resource against this channel.
The core responsibilities of the role will be to increase distribution, drive turnover and increase profitability in your account base. In addition to developing the independent specialist sector the role will also include supporting and developing regional and national group listings.
Entrepreneurial and a natural self starter, the successful candidates will possess a good understanding of the spirits sector, have strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to manage a customer profit and loss account. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years customer facing experience in a wine or spirits focused supplier with a high degree of numeracy, excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire customers.
This role requires frequent travel therefore candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and reside within the preferred regions outlined above. A company car allowance along with other excellent benefits will be provided.
