Domaine Direct is a highly regarded wine company established in 1981, importing a range of top quality wines from France, California, Australia and New Zealand. First and foremost we specialise in domaine-bottled Burgundy and Beaujolais.

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, self-driven, positive and dynamic salesperson to join our small fine wine sales team. The candidate will be responsible for the company’s wholesale and retail sales. They must have a sound understanding of the independent sector and have an absolute minimum of 2 years’ previous experience in a similar sales role. He or she will be required to maintain and nurture existing accounts and to develop and drive forward profitable new business to independent wine merchants and retailers. Whilst the role is principally off-trade-focused, the successful candidate may have an opportunity to maintain and grow a small number of regional restaurant customers.

Product knowledge (WSET Diploma preferred) and an understanding of product placement are key to this UK-wide role.

A passion for wine is essential, together with a committed enthusiasm for selling, engaging and communicating with customers. The candidate must be intelligent, highly organised and self-motivated.
