We are looking for a talented, ambitious, hardworking individual, with great customer service skills to join our industry leading, award winning team.

Job Title: Customer Service & Sales Support Executive

Reports to: Olivia Taylor (Head of Business Administration)

Salary: 23k rising to 24k subject to performance

Location: Jascots HQ, The Observatory, Old Oak Common Lane NW10 6DX

Hours: 08:30 – 17:30

Start Date: Aug/Sept

The Role: You will play a pivotal role in customer care and in supporting our sales team. In addition to being a key point of contact for clients taking orders and answering queries, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the sales team preparing documents for meetings, putting together wine lists and aiding with food and wine matching.

You will also be working closely with the operations team to ensure wines are accurately selected and delivered according to client’s specifications.

We are looking for a professional who wants to be in the wine industry for the long term. We aim to recruit people who will be trained and promoted, typically to the sales team, after a period of 18 to 24 months.

Required knowledge, skills and competencies:

  • WSET Level 2 (or equivalent)
  • Excellent, fluent written and spoken English
  • Experienced in customer service- good telephone manner and customer interaction
  • Attention to detail
  • Skilled at problem solving
  • Ability to communicate well in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office esp. Outlook, Excel, Word.
  • ICT skills and competency in processing EDI

Desired knowledge, skills and competencies:

  • SQL query reporting skills
  • A good working knowledge of the alcohol industry
