DrinkUp.London launched in September 2015 as the online home for three award-wining festivals – London Cocktail Week, London Wine Week and London Beer Week. DrinkUp.London not only produces the events, but also promotes and sells the tickets and curates the content for the festivals. With over 200 super-premium sponsors across the year – its place within the drinks industry is unrivalled.

DrinkUp.London sends weekly newsletters, hosts online editorial content and in the last few years has grown to also become platform for drinks-specific event promotion and marketing – providing support for a myriad of drinks brands alongside the three festivals it represents, including; Ocho Tequila, CASK, Altos Tequila, Chivas Regal, Spirit of Tiki and Mr Black Coffee Liqueur.

DrinkUp.London is part of the Speciality Drinks Group, a multiple award-winning family business with a passion for fine spirits and nearly 50 years of experience in the drinks trade.

DrinkUp.London is looking to recruit a passionate and resourceful Content & Digital Assistant to support the team across all its editorial, social media and commercial platforms. The successful applicant will contribute to news writing and content creation, schedule and publish content and liaise efficiently with external writers and clients.

This is a rare opportunity for someone with an exacting eye for detail to join a young, dynamic and award-winning events and editorial company. The role is based at our modern head office at Park Royal in north-west London.

 

Salary: £21,000 – £24,000 depending on experience

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Content programming and day-to-day management of the DrinkUp.London website (both editorial and commercial)
  • Content programming and day-to-day management of the DrinkUp.London app (both editorial and commercial)
  • Programming and overseeing all social media accounts
  • Creating relevant, articulate content in house-style for both online editorial and all social media platforms
  • Liaising directly with clients to ensure all sponsored media placement is correctly positioned
  • Liaising with in-house development team to co-ordinate DrinkUp.London email newsletters
  • Editing content for both the Bars and Events sections of the website in house-style
  • Working with the relevant senior management to ensure cohesive campaigns are delivered across all media platforms for each DrinkUp.London project
  • Working with clients and key accounts to source assets and information for commercial partnerships.
