Atom Group (AKA Atom Supplies) owns and operates some of the most well-respected and exciting brands in the drinks industry, including:
- Master of Malt
- Maverick Drinks
- That Boutique-y Whisky Company
- Drinks by the Dram
- The Blended Whisky Company
You’ll notice that they have a few things in common:
- They’re not ‘me too’ brands. They carve their own path and pick up fans along the way.
- They put the customer first, so they keep those fans for life.
- They have integrity. They exist for a reason, and they don’t bother with the vacuous.
- They’re award magnets.
This is your opportunity to take the helm of the brand marketing effort for these brands.
You’ll be responsible for the brand marketing strategy and execution through the following channels:
- Physical events, i.e. Taste London, London Cocktail Week, etc.
- Social Media
- Press and other ATL media
You’ll also be responsible for creating and developing our brand assets, including brand websites, social media profiles, brand photography, POS materials, photography assets and sales materials.
You will work closely with the Global Brand Managers (who will be the internal client for brands like Ableforth’s Bathtub Gin) and Commercial Managers to develop the strategies and materials to make sure they fit with global brand guidelines and commercial priorities. You will work cross functionally with the digital and editorial teams to both seek and offer support in delivering projects that span functions.
You will manage, recruit and develop the brand marketing team to maximise productivity and expertise in the department and also to nurture the values and culture that we aspire to in the group.
You’re hardworking, and passionate about the industry and about delivering brand experiences in all their myriad forms.
You understand that in order to do that effectively you will be expected to put in the odd late night or weekend stint; and that you will often have to get out from behind your desk, roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.
You naturally tend to measure where you can, building evidence for the success (or otherwise) of our activity and making the case for ever more investment.
You’re not necessarily trained or qualified in formal project management techniques, but nevertheless you have a natural tendency and ability to keep on top of what’s going on and what’s on the horizon.
We’ll have a first interview in which we discuss the business, the role and generally sound each other out. Then we’ll have a second interview to drill into more detail and you’ll be asked to complete and online test.
You’ll need to submit a compelling CV AND a cover letter. The cover letter is your opportunity to market yourself to us, which you should be good at!
