BRAND DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

 

Manchester Gin turned a year old in May 2017 and we are immensely proud of how far the business has come. We’re now one of the most awarded gins in the region and with continued month on month growth, we’re looking to expand our team with additional Brand Development Executives to help us grow and achieve our goals.

 

Reporting to the Brand Development Manager, the BDE’s key objectives will be to expand profile, distribution and sales of Manchester Gin. The successful candidates would preferably have 1-2 years’ customer facing business development experience, however training will be provided.

 

Key activities for the role

  • Prospecting and bringing on new business by targeting establishments that fit and align with the Manchester Gin family
  • Keeping up to date on your contacts and clients
  • Raising the profile and maintaining the reputation of the brand
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to an existing customer base in order to build customer loyalty
  • Curate, manage and maximise impact at events and tastings
  • Bespoke, engaging and informative training for our key accounts where required
  • Supporting the wider business to ensure all customer requirements are met

 

Responsibilities

  • Meet all commercial and performance targets set by the business
  • Own, manage and report on contacts within your evolving database
  • Handle enquiries in a timely manner, seeking support from the business if required
  • Coordinate and attend events where required and then evaluate back to the business
  • Provide the business with regular updates and ideas

 

Who you are

  • Passionate and knowledgeable about the drinks industry with an enthusiasm for spirits
  • Experienced working with the on-trade
  • Self-motivated, well-organised and willing to get stuck in
  • Presentable, articulate and confident enough to hold tasting events
  • Willing to be flexible with working hours – part of the role will involve events during evenings and weekends
