Full Time, Permanent position (36.25 hours per week)

Typically Mon-Fri 8.45-17.00 with flexibility to work evenings/weekends as required.

Established in 1895 the family owned firm of Gordon & MacPhail has a number of business interests. It is a retailer in Elgin, a wholesaler of wines and spirits in the UK, a bottler of Scotch whiskies, an exporter to over 60 international markets, and distiller, owning Benromach distillery in Forres.

We have two exciting opportunities for experienced Area Sales Executives; Role 1 is covering Southern England (excluding London) and, Role 2 covering the Inner London Area.

The roles will involve managing a portfolio of accounts which will include both on & off-trade driving distribution, availability, retail advocacy and consumer awareness of Benromach, G&M bottlings and our distributor range of products.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have relevant B2B Sales Experience
  • Have FMCG experience, ideally in Wines & Spirits Industry
  • Have advanced selling and negotiation skills
  • Educated to National Certificate level or equivalent in a business related subject.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Be commercially astute
  • Be self-motivated with an organised approach
  • Have a full UK Driving Licence
  • Have a good understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Have a genuine interest in the UK Drinks market.
