Events / Wines of Navarra Masterclass

Visiting four of the UK’s most vibrant cities, Wines of Navarra will be hosting a series of masterclasses throughout the year, giving industry professionals the chance to taste a selection of wines from 11 of the region’s top wineries, some seeking representation in the UK. The masterclasses offer the chance to learn more about these wines from the north-eastern corner of Spain.

Located in the foothills of the Pyrenees, Navarra has a variety of microclimates that range from dry and arid with Mediterranean influences in the south, to cooler, lusher landscapes in the north, where wines are influenced by Atlantic winds.

Its unique location provides winemakers with a variety of grape-growing climates, resulting in red wines with great structure and depth, and white wines with freshness and great acidity. Not least, the region is famed for its rosado wines, rosé expressions produced by the saignée method, which gives the wines a distinctive deep colour.
