Beaujolais Wines Trade Tasting & Masterclass

Join Beaujolais Wines for a unique exploration of the region’s wines across the years and appellations at the 2019 Beaujolais Trade & Press Tasting, to be held on Monday 10th June (11AM – 6PM) at the Institute of Contemporary Arts.

Discover the versatility of the Gamay grape, which reaches its peak expression in the terroirs of Beaujolais, and explore the region’s whites and rosés at the 2019 Beaujolais Trade & Press Tasting.

Nestled between Burgundy to the North and The Rhône to the South, Beaujolais is home to 12 appellations. Go back in time and travel through the region with wines from all appellations and outstanding vintages, from 2015 to 2018.

Around 200 wines will be presented, many of which are already imported to the UK and others that are seeking representation.

Join the two masterclasses hosted by leading experts:

  • 1-2pm: Exploring the diversity of wine styles and winemaking techniques in Beaujolais, with Natasha Hughes MW
  • 3-4pm: Decoding the terroirs of Beaujolais, with Joe Wadsack
