House Beer nails first TV ad campaign

A new beer company coming out of California communicate their message clearly with an outstanding new TV spot.

In an age where beer companies clamour over each other to sell consumers a less than realistic representation of themselves and their products, House Beer of Venice California have hit upon a formula than ensures nobody will be left uncertain about what they’re trying to deliver.

Directed by Kevin Butler, a seasoned industry vet who has previously worked with the likes of Deutsch, TBWA\Media Arts Lab, Facebook and TBWA\Chiat\Day, has paid tribute to the easy cool of the region and played up to the no-nonsense approach that so many fail to get right.

However, as Tim Nudd points out in Adweek, it’s lack of pretentiousness can still come across as quite pretentious, but for the most part it puts across a clear message that’s easy to understand and get on board with.
