Pink Rosé Festival

THE FIRST INTERNATIONAL ROSE WINE FESTIVAL DEDICATED TO THE PROFESSIONALS
Following a highly successful first edition, with more that 700 targeted meetings bringing together 62 producers and 48 carefully selected  international buyers, the Pink Rosé Festival will once again be putting rosé wine in the spotlight from Wednesday 7th February to Friday 9th February 2018 at the Palais des Festivals, Cannes. And to highlight it’s international impact, the show will be breaking into Asia by way of the Pink Rosé Lounge at the heart of the ProWine Shanghai in November 2017.

PINK ROSE FESTIVAL – PUTTING ROSE WINE IN THE SPOTLIGHT
After historically low harvests, the 2017 vintage risked being a difficult year for many of those in the wine industry, not only in France, but also in other European countries and the United States. Pink Rosé Festival decided this year to take on board this challenge, aware that the buyers would take a place quickly especially for the rosé wines. Thanks to the guaranteed personalised meetings, the Pink Rosé Festival will allow buyers to guarantee the procurement of the wines they are after, and for the producers it will allow them to diversify their market share in these difficult times.

PINK ROSE FESTIVAL – PRODUCERS FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF EUROPE
Pink Rosé Festival will bring together more than 100 producers with the majority being French and Italian however the Spanish, Israelis and even Romanians will also be in attendance. These producers will present their full range including the all-important organic wines. Pink Rosé Festival is recognised now more than ever as the international platform for exchange between producer and buyer and differentiates itself dramatically from the more traditional trade shows where the producer would only have their stand in which showcase themselves. At Pink Rosé Festival, each producer has a minimum of 16 appointments, each one carefully curated by using the precise profiles and requests of both the producers and the buyers. Each meeting lasts 30 minutes and is held over two full days with a set schedule, enabling both the producer and buyer to meet according to their pre-set agendas. These meetings are completely guaranteed.

PINK ROSE FESTIVAL – THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE PINK FESTIVAL
Following on from last year’s model, Pink Rosé Festival is organised around three main events.

The Tasting Zone
Located in the exhibition zone, allowing all visitors to taste the rosé wines from every producer present at the show in one dedicated area and in a self-service format.

The Materclass
Lively tasting sessions held by well-known professionals for all buyers. These classes have priority places for those without pre-established meetings.

The Pink Rosé Festival Awards 2018
Undoubtedly the highlight of the show, the Pink Awards 2018 is an innovative ceremony that honours the stars of the rosé wine industry. The trophies awarded celebrate the marriage between a particular dish from a chef in Cannes and the rosé wine of the exhibitor. A jury, composed of chefs and sommeliers from prestigious five star properties in Cannes, will judge who will become the deserved winners of the Palmarès au Palais des Festivals, a reference to the glitz and glamour of the awards that Cannes is renown for.
