Entries now open: The Global Sangiovese Masters 2025

From the rolling hills of Tuscany to sun-drenched vineyards in Australia, Sangiovese is a grape of extraordinary versatility and expression.

The Sangiovese grape in the vineyard, ripe and ready for harvest. The Sangiovese grape is the key variety in the Tuscan wine region of Chianti, Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Montepuciano. Now, the drinks business invites producers from around the world to submit their finest examples to the Global Sangiovese Masters 2025, a competition designed to spotlight the very best this noble variety has to offer.

Whether a classic Chianti or a bold New World blend, entries featuring at least 50% Sangiovese are welcome. All wines will be blind tasted and evaluated by a distinguished panel comprised of Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers and senior industry buyers, maintaining the rigorous standards the drinks business Masters series is known for.
