Austrian Wine will bring 900 international wine experts to VieVinum

Austrian Wine has invited 900 international wine experts from more than 50 different countries to taste and verify the quality of the “exceptional” 2021 vintage.

The VieVinum has been postponed twice but will return this Spring on 21 to 23 May, where invited guests will be able to taste the much-heralded 2021 vintage.

“Last year blessed us with mature, crystal-clear wines from perfect grapes, and in generous quantities!” commented CEO of Austrian Wine, Chris Yorke. “Thanks to the fine, typically Austrian 2020 vintage and the world-class 2019 wines, our winegrowers have even more aces up their sleeves to impress visitors at the trade fair.”

“VieVinum is eagerly awaited by our international partners!” he added. “The trade fair is a key fixture in their calendars and gives them an opportunity to talk to our winegrowers in person once more.”

Alongside the 500 exhibitors, guests will be able to enjoy a full package of events, from a seated flight tasting of 90 top-scoring Austrian wines to wine tours of wine-growing regions in the country.
