The three-day event, which takes place in Woolacombe Bay on the North Devon coastline in May, celebrates the free-spirited culture of surfing, live music, skating, and nature.

It will be the first in a series of events that highlights the two brands’ commitment to sustainability and protecting the environment, which will be followed by the second Blue Earth Summit in Bristol, in October. The two-day sustainability-focused event allows attendees to gain an insight into making positive changes at work and in life, from navigating greenwashing to debunking the BCorp process.

Wavelength is also the title sponsor of a new female-focused-and-produced podcast launching this spring, called Wavelength Women. Editor Sophie Everard will run a series of episodes focusing on female-led storytelling from within the surfing community.

Mermaid Gin’s co-founder, Xavier Baker, said he was delighted to forge a partnership with a brand with a similar outlook and ethos. “We want to be seen as the brand that is at the forefront of the surfing and outdoor community, protecting our coastline and oceans,” he said.
