‘Clean’ wine range to list shares on NYC stock market at revised price

Fresh Vine Wine, a ‘low carb, low calorie’ premium wine range backed by celeb influencers will launch its shares at a new sum.

A wine brand, which focuses on “low carb, low calorie, gluten-free” premium wines, and boasts actresses Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough as company co-founders, plans to list its shares on the New York Stock Exchange, with an amended public offering.

Fresh Grapes LLC, which operates under brand name Fresh Vine Wine and which will list shares under the symbol VINE, has said it expects to offer 2.2 million shares at between US$9 and US$10 each.

It follows the company listing a loss of US$5.99 per share for the first nine months of this year, which compares with a loss of 93 cents for the same period in 2020.

Fresh Vine Wine is part of a “clean” wine trend, where producers claim to make wines that are better for consumers’ health. It includes the likes of Cameron Diaz’s Avaline wine and US outfit Scout and Cellar, which claims to be “free of yucky stuff like synthetic pesticides and chemical additives” and contain fewer than 100ppm of total sulfites.

“We wanted to make a guilt free wine that compliments active lifestyles,” Dobrev says on the company’s website.

“We both lead very active and physical lifestyles, with a holistic approach, so we wanted to make a product that not only complimented our lives but was also still of premium quality and impeccable taste,” said Hough.

The pair have a collective Instagram following of around 30 million people, and according to Fresh Vine Wine the duo will continue to “actively promote” the company’s wines “pursuant to the agreements we have in place with them.”

The brand is also said to enjoy support from several other celebrity influencers.

The Fresh Vine Wine range includes a Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and a rosé wine, each priced at under US$22.
