Champagne has its own region in France, but until now beer has lacked the prestige of having its own eponymous locale. Well, Miller High Life is looking to change all that, as it petitions the Milwaukee Common Council to make the official Champagne of Beers region in Wisconsin.

So if you’ve got a burning passion for beer – specifically Miller High Life – have always wanted to visit Milwaukee, and want $20,000, then today is your lucky day, because the beer brand is searching for an official ambassador to help champion its noble cause.

If you’re successful, all of this could be yours, per the entry page:

“Free Miller High Life for a year, $20,000, High Life swag and an all-expenses paid trip to explore The Champagne of Beers region”. Sound good? Us too.

Petitioning its scheme, Miller High Life wrote:

“If champagne can only come from Champagne, France, why is The Champagne of Beers any different?

We’re petitioning the Milwaukee Common Council to establish an official Champagne of Beers region, and declare that only beers invented within its strict borders – around the Miller Brewery – will be considered The Champagne of Beers.”

Applications for the prestigious position open on 6 May. All you’ll need to do is head over to the website and explain in 50 words or less why you’d be the perfect ambassador.
