Sazerac appoints Dyspatchr as Singapore importer

Singapore-based alcohol distributor Dyspatchr has been appointed the master importer and distributor for Sazerac’s Bond & Royal Portfolio.

With nearly 400 years of history, Sazerac’s business was rooted in the Cognac industry in France, which in turn led to the creation of coffee houses and bars in New Orleans, the Sazerac Cocktail, and eventually to the Sazerac Company which today also includes the Buffalo Trace Distillery.

With a focus on the whisk(e)y space, Sazerac boasts a prestigious collection of globally recognised brands including Pappy Van Winkle, Buffalo Trace, Blanton’s and more.

Welcoming its newest cognac brands, Seignette and Sazerac De Forge, Sazerac has selected Singapore as one of its marquee markets to launch.

Adding a new offering for venue partners and collectors, Dyspatchr will also roll out a custom barrel programme with the Buffalo Trace Distillery.

The Master Distiller will ship a selection of samples for partners to choose from, or one can visit the distillery and choose in-person, and will get personalised bottles as well as the actual empty barrel.

Dyspatchr also gains access to the ultra-rare collection from The Last Drop Distillers. The rotating offering currently includes a trilogy of whiskies from the famed Glenrothes Distillery dating from 1968, 1969, and 1970 (300 bottles of each available globally), a Grand Champagne Cognac from 1959 (only 21 bottles available globally), and a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey produced by the lauded Buffalo Trace Distillery in 1980 (only 240 bottles available globally).

Co-founded by Andrew Creswick and Jeffrey Meese, Dyspatchr is one of the fastest-growing distributors in Southeast Asia. Over the past two years the company has built a portfolio that ranges from affordable to distinctive labels.

“We’re thrilled to represent these renowned brands from Sazerac’s portfolio as Dyspatchr continues to grow,” says Simone Dyson, Head of Spirits & Education for Dyspatchr.

“Working with such a globally recognised company less than two years after we launched is a huge milestone for us, and we look forward to presenting their range to our clients in Singapore,” says Kieran Hearley, General Manager for Dyspatchr.

The Sazerac portfolio will be available in Singapore through Dyspatchr from March 2021, joining its core products such as AMASS, Aviation American Gin, Don Papa, LAIBA, The Lover’s Rum and Westward Whiskey.
