67 Pall Mall to host first-ever diversity webinar
67 Pall Mall, the mayfair-based members’ club for people with a love of fine wine, is set to host its first-ever event on diversity with four wine experts.
The event is open to all, and will cover the importance of diversity in the wine industry and explore what needs to be done to create a more inclusive community.
It will be led by Fikayo Ifaturoti – a sommelier at the exclusive wine club – who will welcome a panel of experts including Hue Society and The Roots Fund founder Tahiirah Habibi, TV presenter and hopeful restaurateur Yannick Benjamin, New York-based wine director Miguel de Leon, and Bubbledog’s founder and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch regular Sandia Chang.
The online panel discussion on Diversity in Wine, will take place on Friday 30 October at 6pm GMT.
“We invite everyone to pour a glass, join the discussion and take a step in the right direction to move forward as an industry,” the club said in a statement.
