Le Cordon Bleu offers click and collect service

World-renowned cookery school Le Cordon Bleu is to offer a click and collect service at Cord, the 90-cover restaurant at its new London outpost on Fleet Street.

As reported by the Evening Standard, the historic culinary institution that taught the likes of Julia Child, Prue Leith, Charlie Trotter and Yotam Ottolenghi, is keen to modernise and make the most of the lunchtime crowd of nearby office workers.

Diners will be able to review the menu via the Cordon Bleu app, order, and set a time for pick-up. In addition to speedy service, the app will offer loyalty discounts and free croissants.

While Le Cordon Bleu has run a London cookery school since 1931, Cord is its first London restaurant Le Cordon Bleu president, André J Cointreau, described the restaurant as “an evolving culinary art form”.
