The gin-spired package draws inspiration from Snowdonia Distillery’s Forager’s Gin which is made from botanicals growing in the Snowdonia National Park.

On arrival at the Grade II listed Victorian hotel, whose distinguished former guests include Queen Victoria and Winston Churchill, gin-venturers are offered cocktails made from Forager’s Black Label, a two botanical gin (juniper and sea buckthorn), and Forager’s Yellow Label, made with juniper, apple, elderberry and gorse and heather flowers.

In the evening, guests a treated to an eight-course tasting menu using locally-sourced ingredients served up by head chef Gareth Stevenson.

After breakfast the following day, gin-thusiasts are taken on a trip to Mount Snowdon by the Raw Adventures team to help them harvest the wild botanicals used in Forager’s Gin. After climbing the mountains, the gin-venture continues with a tour of the Snowdonia Distillery in Colwyn Bay and a talk on the distillation process, from selecting the right botanicals all the way through to tasting the finished product.

The gin-venture, priced at £1,642 for two people, includes a two-night stay at Palé Hall, breakfast and dinner, Raw Adventure expedition, Snowdonia Distillery tour and transfers.
