Perrier-Jouët releases limited edition bottles
By Lauren EadsChampagne Perrier-Jouët has unveiled the two new limited edition bottles designed by Austrian-based design duo Katharina Mischer and Thomas Traxler.
Belle Epoque 2007
The two releases, from the producer’s Small Discoveries range, include a bottle of Cuvée Belle Epoque 2007 and a bottle of Cuvée Grand Brut.
Mischer and Traxler, who make up the Austrian-based mischer’traxler studio, treated the Belle Epoque 2007 bottle as a landscape, doing away with its label and leaving only a white foil cap. The bottle itself is covered in butterflies and foliage, in keeping with Perrier-Jouët’s established design cues.
The wine itself is described by Chef de Caves Hervé Deschamps as “an epicurean wine embodying Perrier-Jouët’s art of crafting exceptional vintage Champagnes.”
The Grand Brut meanwhile comes houses in white lacquered slide top gift box adorned with emeralds, silhouettes of spring foliage and butterflies.
