Moët unveils Diamond Jubilee label

Moët & Chandon has created a special label to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Using gold script on a white background a new two-part label has been applied to this year’s release of the brand’s non-vintage brut Champagne.

The house has held the Royal Warrant since 1893 and created exclusive cuvées for both the Silver and Golden Jubilee celebrations of HM Queen Elizabeth II.

However, this year the cuvée won’t just be served at Royal events, but will also appear on the shelves of Waitrose, Fortnum & Mason, Selfridges, Harvey Nichols and Harrods from May, after the Royal Household granted the Champagne approval for sale.

The lower label states, “The house of Moët & Chandon are proud to present this special cuvée to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty The Queen.”

As previously reported by the drinks business, Moët & Chandon will be served at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee picnic which is being held for the 12,000 people attending the Diamond Jubilee Concert on 4 June.
