Constellation to end Australian listing
By Alan LodgeConstellation Brands has announced its intention to delist from the Australian Stock Exchange.
The world’s biggest wine company, which owns the Hardys, Nobilo and Robert Mondavi brands, is aiming to remove itself from the Australian Securities Exchange by the end of its current fiscal year, which ends on 28 February 2011.
The company said the thin trading of its shares in Australia, “coupled with the additional complexity of administration and compliance with the listing”, led to the decision.
