Two directors banned over £1m fine wine scam

Two directors of a company that traded in fine wines have been disqualified for a combined 20 years, following an Insolvency Service investigation, after scamming its customers out of nearly £1 million.

Fake fine wine trader jailed after £100k scam

Lasse Hartmann has been sentenced to four years in prison for masterminding a £100,000 scam in which he pretended to be a multi-millionaire businessman trading in fine wine and Champagne.

The director of a wine investment firm that was liquidated in 2012 with £1 million missing from its books has been banned from running a company for 12 years.

Premier Cru scam to be turned into TV show

A TV show with a plotline suspiciously similar to the Premier Cru wine scandal is in the pipeline, with Star Trek actor John Cho set to play the lead.
