Renowned Pays d’Oc IGP specialist and Master of Wine Matthew Stubbs will talk attendees through the Collection 2013, a selection of premium wine that is produced in the denomination.
"Pays d’Oc IGP, drawn from the Languedoc-Roussillon region, is one of the most dynamic wine denominations today – the freedom from which the winemakers have to exploit the natural diversity of the climate, soil and 56 grape varietals is allowing a level of innovation unseen in other regions.
In 25 years, the creativity of growers and winemakers as well as their belief in quality single grape variety wines has raised Pays d’Oc IGP wines to become a reference point for consumers around the world for single variety wines in France. With 56 grape varieties actively used, there are almost endless possibilities to craft balanced and aromatic wines.
The Pays d’Oc winemakers are genuine contemporary artists who offer a unique diversity of taste and this diversity is born from the wealth of Pays d’Oc IGP.
