The Premium Selection by Bill Hardy

Available in Shiraz or Chardonnay expressions, the Premium Selection is an addition to the flagship Hardys range, which is already one of the most widely distributed wine brands in global travel retail. The Premium Selection South Australian Shiraz offers a “distinctive taste of rich plum and blueberry fruit complexed with dark chocolate, vanilla and clove spice”. Meanwhile, the Premium Selection Chardonnay is said to release “intense aromatics of melon and white peach, combined with notes of spicy oak, delivering a distinctive delicate taste”.

Da Luca Prosecco

Da Luca Prosecco will be offering travellers a “delicious sparkling wine with a crisp and refreshing taste, and notes of peach and nectarine” after launching at the TFWA fair. Da Luca is said to combine “rich winemaking heritage and flair for creativity to produce a range of bold, distinctive wines”. With its labels inspired by Sicily’s national card game, Scopa, the wines are designed to “capture the vibrancy of the Sicilian spirit”.

Hanging Houses organic wine

Brand owner Brookfield Drinks and distributor World of Partia International are launching a new range of organic wines being launched at TFWA World Exhibition (Blue Village G13): Hanging Houses. Said to have “huge potential both in global travel retail and domestic markets”, the brand is seeking to offer the intrigue of organic wine at the price of a non-organic wine. Brookfield is initially bringing a Tempranillo to the market, with Bobal rosé and Sauvignon Blanc set to follow later next year. The Tempranillo is described as “fruity and balanced” with “dark berry fruit flavours matched by chocolate notes”, while the finish is “mellow and polished”.

Mud House Hill No.5

This new travel retail exclusive is solely sourced from the hillside blocks of Mud House’s Marlborough vineyard. This Sauvignon Blanc “overflows with fruit concentration as classic tropical, citrus and green bean flavours fill the palate” according to brand owner Accolade.

Cognac Gautier extensions

This year at TFWA World Exhibition, Marie Brizard will be showcasing its Cognac Gautier XO Gold & Blue, voted World’s Best Cognac at the World Cognac Awards 2015. From the same family it also offers the VS Cognac and Gautier Tradition Rare, which received the “Best Cognac” accolade at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

Tequila Corralejo gift box

Fraternity Spirits comes to TFWA World Exhibition (Blue Village, E01) with its new Special Edition Tequila Corralejo Gift Box, which has been specifically designed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the flagship product of its portfolio. “A Tequila steeped in history, Corralejo is a product of great quality, with a unique look and feel that makes it completely different from its competitors,” according to its brand owner. The new Gift Box continues this trend, with illustrations of the Hacienda Corralejo and its origins. The new gift box will appear alongside the recently released Horus chocolate liqueur, and its staple Ron Prohibido Mexican spiced rum.

Hardy Cognacs

As part of Cognac Hardy’s series of four new carafes, the Maison is releasing L’Ete. Continuing its collaboration with Hardy, the crystal glassmaker Lalique has designed a fan-like carafe using its famous amber-coloured crystal. The Cognac is composed of six eaux-du-vie that are almost 100 years old from Grande Champagne, carefully put aside by Armand Hardy between 1919 and 1940. Separately, with Noces d’Argent, the Maison has taken on the challenge of releasing a younger and more accessible Cognac. The carafe contains a blend of 30 different eaux-de-vie that have been aged for an average of 25 years. It has been produced with eaux-de-vie from Grande and Petite Champagne, earning it the Fine Champagne designation. It is said to combine aromas of raisins and tobacco with fine notes of spices and honey
