Final chance for Rioja Masters

Time is running out for Rioja producers to enter The Rioja Masters 2015, the fourth annual competition that seeks to recognise and reward the finest wines from the region.

A panel of industry experts including MWs will judge the wines submitted in a blind tasting to discover the best wines from the Spanish region.

Billed as the biggest and most extensive blind tasting of Rioja this year, the competition is split into six categories: Joven, Crianza, Reserva, Gran Reserva, Vinos de autor and Rioja 15 years and older.

The competition – which closes on 23 October – is open to small and medium size producers, which will be judged alongside wines from larger companies.

The results and analysis will be published in the drinks business magazine, online, on social media and also in the db Hong Kong edition.

Examples from last year’s award winners will be showcased at The Wine Show Chelsea, taking place on 16-18 October.

Entrants are requested to email Sophie@thedrinksbusiness.com for further information.
