La Saison launches ‘Degustation Menu’

La Saison’s Michelin-starred chef, Jacques Barnachon, will visit Hong Kong in late September to launch the restaurant’s autumn tasting menu.

To mark the end of summer in Hong Kong and a return to “the best of autumnal produce”, Jacques Barnachon has crafted an eight-course Degustation Menu, available only from 22-30 September during his visit for his Tsim Sha Tsui restaurant, La Saison.

Using Western, seasonal ingredients including sea bream tartare, duck foie gras terrine, pan seared scallops and veal tenderloin, the menu is designed exclusively by Barnachon who is also the executive chef of L’Etang du Moulin in Bonnetage.

There is also Brie served with black truffle and fried fruits and roasted figs served with honey, Port, milk chocolate ganache and lemon thyme sorbet.

Barnachon will be accompanied by his pastry chef, Laurent Gagliardi who has worked with him for 15 years.

The Degustation Menu menu is priced at HK$1,488 per head on weekdays (22-24 and 28-30 September) and HK$1,688 on the weekend (25-27 September).

Bookings made before 10 September will receive HK$200 discount. For more information, and to book please visit La Saison’s website.
