db launches The Wine Show – Chelsea

the drinks business is proud to announce the launch of a new wine fair designed to encourage consumers to buy quality wines.

Situated in the Old Town Hall in the heart of Chelsea, The Wine Show – Chelsea, will showcase just 35 stands and will target consumers and visitors from the local area (Chelsea, Knightsbridge, Kensington, Battersea and Fulham) with an interest in wines of a high standard from around the world.

Wine enthusiasts will be given the opportunity to discover and buy fine wines, while tasting advisors – ranging from trade experts to MW students – will be present throughout the show to offer help and advice.

the drinks business will also use this event to highlight its exclusive range of award-winning wines from the successful Global Masters series.

Throughout the weekend, a carefully chosen menu of foods from around the world will be available to complement the wines and enhance the experience of what promises to be an illuminating weekend. Expert Masterclasses will be held, hosted by leading experts in varying areas of winemaking and featuring stalls from specialists in their field. A charity tombola will also be held in support of Help for Heroes.

db will be promoting this event through its established media platforms, such as www.thedrinksbusiness.com, direct mailings, targeted e-newsletter campaigns as well as a variety of social media outlets. An outdoor advertising campaign targeting local residents as well as a marketing campaign targeting local hotels, restaurants, wine merchants and publishers will also run helping to further promote this unique event.

The show will launch on Friday 16th October with an introductory trade only afternoon. It will then open to the general public from 5pm and run until the evening of Sunday, 18 October.
