Pernod strikes Champagne deal with Qantas

Drinks giant Pernod Ricard has struck a deal with Australia’s national carrier Qantas to serve Mumm and Perrier Jouët to its first class passengers.

First class passengers will now be served Mumm rosé or Perrier Jouët brut in Qantas’ first class lounges at Sydney and Melbourne airports.

Interestingly, Mumm’s rosé is the first pink Champagne to be listed by Qantas on its first class lounge drinks menu.

Katie Gee, senior brand manager for Pernod Ricard Pacific Travel Retail enthuses: “We’re delighted to have secured these two new listings with such a prolific and established airline.

“Guests of the Qantas International First Lounge have been extremely positive towards the new additions to the drinks menu and we look forward to raising our glasses to future passengers.”
