AWSEC announces winners of 20th anniversary night
The Asia Wine Service & Education Centre has announced the winners from its 20th anniversary dinner held last month in Hong Kong.
Over 300 people attended the dinner on 3 May to celebrate 20 years of wine education in Asia.
Five lucky students (pictured) also won a subscription to the drinks business Hong Kong which is a media partner of the AWSEC. They were drawn in a lucky dip from this year’s various classes and are: Stella Chan, Suet Ying Cheung, Vincent Tsui, Nicholas Siu and Sammie Lam.
Alongside prizes for the best dressed lady and best dressed gentleman at the event, the Acker Merrall & Condit Award for exemplary commitment and dedication to the pursuit of excellence in wine and spirit studies was presented to two recipients by the auction house’s CEO Andrew Bigbee.
Also in town for the celebrations was David Wrigley MW, global communications director at the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.
