Enter now for Global Cab Sav Masters

Do you want your Cabernet Sauvignon assessed blind by the world’s best palates? Then you’ve got just two weeks left to enter The Global Cabernet Sauvignon Masters.

With a closing date of Friday 25 April, the competition, which is run by the drinks business, will stop receiving entries soon.

In a crowded wine competition arena, The Drinks Business Global Cabernet Sauvignon Masters stands out for its assessment of wines purely by grape variety rather than region.

Divided only by price bracket and, for ease of judging, whether the style was oaked or unoaked, light or full bodied, the blind tasting format allows wines to be assessed without prejudice about their country of origin.

Wines will be scored out of 100, with those gaining over 95 points being awarded the top title of Master. Those earning over 90 points will be given a Gold, those over 85 points a Silver and those over 80 points a Bronze.

Like previous competitions – The Global Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Masters – the wines in the Global Cabernet Sauvignon Masters will be judged exclusively by Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers.
