Koshu toasts year of success

Koshu of Japan (KOJ) is celebrating a fourth successive year of growing awareness and distribution in the UK and has announced its programme for next year.

Koshu of JapanSince launching in the UK market in 2010, Koshu has risen from near obscurity to find listings at The Sampler, Hotel Terravina and Selfidges.

Lynne Sherriff MW, UK director of KOJ in the UK and Europe said, “We are delighted to be hosting the KOJ UK Trade and Press tasting for a fifth year.

“The fact that the KOJ producers are coming all the way from Japan to personally attend the tasting really shows how seriously they take the growing UK market for these fantastic wines.

“With Gerard Bassett MS MW OBE MBA joining Yuka Kudo of KOJ to host the wine and food matching session, this tasting really will be something special.”

Next year’s activities will include food and wine matching with Basset and Kudo and KOJ will be taking a stand for the first time at ProWein.

Members of the trade who wish to attend the tasting in London next year can register here.
