Wineries have turned greener without customers demanding it. Winemakers always boast to visitors about their green, organic, sustainable or biodynamic programme, but there remains a distinct lack of statistics or even anecdotal evidence that it’s a consideration when a customer chooses a wine.
As everyone talks about being green, consumers seem to take it as a given.
