3. While wineries see the value of being “green”, consumers appear to be colour blind.

biodynamicsWineries have turned greener without customers demanding it. Winemakers always boast to visitors about their green, organic, sustainable or biodynamic programme, but there remains a distinct lack of statistics or even anecdotal evidence that it’s a consideration when a customer chooses a wine.

As everyone talks about being green, consumers seem to take it as a given.
