Iron Maiden’s Trooper beer goes national

Iron Maiden’s recently launched Trooper beer, which is produced by the Robinsons Brewery, will now be available across the UK after Morrisons supermarket said it will stock the beer.

Worldwide demand for Trooper beer has “stunned and delighted” Robinsons, a regional family brewer in the north-west of England, with orders coming in from Canada, Sweden, Belgium, Brazil, France, Germany, Czech Republic, Holland, Denmark, Switzerland, Slovenia, Poland, Finland, Bulgaria, Spain, South Africa, Australia, Taiwan and USA.

Along with these international orders Robinsons will now deal with the demand of supplying the 450 Morrisons supermarkets that will now stock the beer as well.

The unprecedented upfront demand for the beer meant that Robinsons had to brew three times a day, six days a week for the first time ever in their 175 year history to meet pre-orders in excess of 300,000 pints.

Trooper beer was launched at the Robinsons Brewery in Stockport at the beginning of March, with Bruce Dickinson, Iron Maiden’s lead vocalist and “the driving force behind Trooper beer” attending the ceremony.
