New Champagne sponsor for Vinopolis

Canard-Duchêne is to be the new Champagne sponsor for the recently revamped Vinopolis.

Opening again this October after a multi-million pound redevelopment, Vinopolis will be host to a “Champagne room” created by Canard-Duchêne as part of its wine tasting experience.

The room will allow guests not only to learn about the house but also about the history of the region and how the wines are made.

Canard-Duchêne’s CEO Stanislas Thienot, said: “Our partnership with Vinopolis gives us a platform to showcase our Champagnes directly to the consumer, reflecting the international ambition of Canard-Duchêne.

“This is the first of an on-going programme of development which is taking place in the vineyards, wines and across the brand as it approaches its 150th anniversary in 2018”.

Vinopolis’ managing director, Lucy Haines, added that she hoped the presence of Canard-Duchêne would “complement” the museum’s wine tasting offerings.

Tickets for Vinopolis’ tasting packages – “Essential”, “Classic” and “Quintessential” – are now on sale and all visitors will be able to taste the three Champagnes Canard-Duchêne has provided, Cuvée Léonie Brut NV, Authentic Rosé NV and Authentic Vintage 2005.
