The Whisky Show returns

The Whisky Show, organised by The Whisky Exchange, is returning to Vinopolis in London this October for its fourth year.

In addition to a broad selection of Scottish producers, including The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, Japanese brands such as Yamazaki, Hakushu, Hibiki and Karuizawa will exhibit, as well as Irish whiskey Jameson.

The show will also feature The English Whisky Co, which opened its George’s Distillery in Norfolk in 2009, becoming the first new whisky distiller in England for over a century.

With over 1,000 visitors last year, Sukhider Singh, The Whisky Show director, believes the event is the “pinnacle in the field of consumer whisky tasting events”. He said, “The show continues to grow in success as consumers seek out opportunities to try the finest whiskies available.”

It was partly due to the success of this ambitious annual initiative that The Whisky Exchange was named Independent Retailer of the Year at The Drinks Business Awards 2012.

Alongside exhibitors, the show will feature a series of masterclass events, due to be announced shortly.

The Whisky Show takes place from 12-6pm on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 October, with Monday 8 of October reserved for the trade and press. The Monday session will include an informal Q&A session with a number of this year’s exhibiting producers.
