London to welcome Happenstance & Haberdashery
London bar and restaurant group Drake & Morgan will add a further two sites to its portfolio in 2013.
The Happenstance site in St Paul’s Churchyard
The Happenstance will be an 8,000 square foot, 238-cover site in St Paul’s Churchyard, with floor to ceiling windows offering a full view of St Paul’s Cathedral. In keeping with the flexible offer of the group’s existing sites, which include The Anthologist and The Folly, The Happenstance will incorporate an open kitchen, deli, mixology table, florist, bar and private dining room.
Drake & Morgan’s seventh venue will be The Haberdashery at Sixty London, near Holborn. At just over 10,000 square feet and 478 covers, this larger venue will be spread over three floors and feature a florist, cheese and wine room, deli, kitchen and bar.
Commenting on this latest expansion, Drake & Morgan managing director Jillian MacLean, said: “We are be delighted to be opening these new sites next year and it’s fantastic that we can continue to provide the City with something that’s a little bit different, fresh and innovative.”
