Bodegas Torres starts its handover

Bodegas Torres has begun its transition to the next generation with Miguel Torres Maczassek taking over from his father as general manager in September.

Current president and general manager of Torres, Miguel Torres, will stay on as group president. The succession coincides with his 71st birthday, as was indicated in the family’s protocol.

His daughter Mireia Torres Maczassek will continue to head up the group’s Jean Leon and Torres Priorat companies as general manager and oenology consultant.

Miguel Torres Maczassek  has been based in Curicó in Chile for the past two and a half years working as marketing manager with the group from 2004, and as general manager of the Jean Leon winery since 2001.
