Wine Innovation Profile: Lenz Moser

Lenz Moser combines a century-old wine culture with state-of-the-art technology and an ecological approach.

Both in the vineyard and in the winery, strict quality control measures guarantee consistent premium quality.

It’s largely due to a traditional approach and recent investments that Lenz Moser became one of Central Europe’s most modern wineries.

During the past few years it has been possible to build up an impressive range of wines from different regions of Austria, representing the most important varieties and wine styles from Austria, with Grüner Veltliner and Blauer Zweigelt grapes at the core of their efforts.

Recently rosé wines have been gaining more and more importance. Lenz Moser tried to follow this development and also the trend towards fruity and fresh wines in general and aimed to produce a new, interesting and unique rosé – Fête Rosé.

Fête Rosé combines fruitiness and freshness – just as you can find in a white wine, but with all the advantages of a red wine.

The wine is described as: “Salmon-coloured; youthful-intensive aroma of strawberries and raspberries; dry, fresh and fruity; pleasantly harmonious acidity; easy drinking and well balanced.

“The wine is perfect as aperitif and for any other occasion. Its fine character and the delicate tannins present it as an ideal partner for fish, salads and also for barbecued poultry and pork.”

The newest innovation – Fête Rosé in a 0.25 litre bottle – adds to its versatility.

Lenz Moser’s Fête Rosé is just one of the entrants into this year’s Wine Innovation Masters. Click here for more details.
