A Classic Christmas for Rémy Martin

Rémy Martin has launched its first-ever UK radio campaign in a bid to boost sales of the brand’s VSOP Cognac in the lead up to Christmas. The campaign will target 22 million consumers through national station Classic FM.

Starting this week, the campaign “celebrates the unique craftsmanship and superior quality of VSOP,” in the hope to capitalise on the fact that more than 50% of Rémy Martin’s VSOP annual sales are expected to take place in the weeks before Christmas.

Rémy Martin is also involved in supporting campaigns during the festive period. Print advertising is hoped to reach another 2m consumers and a training programme for bartenders will advise on how to best utilise the Cognac in cocktails.

Linda Sooprayen, brand manager for Rémy Martin at Maxxium, the UK distributor, said: “Our Christmas VSOP investment will help accelerate the spirit’s current momentum, ensuring it is front of mind for consumers.”
