Lanson goes back to black

Champagne Lanson has repackaged the quartet of wines in its core range, Black Label, Ivory Label, Rosé Label, and Gold Label. The move completes the full range makeover that began last year with the trio of Noble Cuvée.

The new design will feature a red stylised cross, in acknowledgement of the heraldic arms of the Maltese Cross, with which the house has links dating back nearly 250 years.

Paul Beavis, managing director of Lanson International said: "In a final tribute to our heritage and patronage; the neck label bears the insignia of the Royal Warrant which was first granted to Champagne Lanson by Queen Victoria, and has been held ever since."

New gift boxes will also accompany the new packaging.
